The above fees include Italian I.V.A. (V.A.T.) at 20 %.
The banks in Italy require 4 to 5 weeks to clear cheques or
plastic card payments drawn on banks outside Italy and their charges for doing
so are extremely high.. In order to
avoid having to pass on such costs to guests, we can only accept payment on site
in cash. Deposits paid to England may of
course be by cheque in stirling or via the web site using a credit card through
paypal.
However, on site, guests may pay in Euros or in Pounds Stirling and ON SITE, we will also exchange Pounds Stirling for Euros at the inter-bank rate as published in the Financial Times (currently around € 1 = £0:75p) without charging you any commission or handling fees, subject only to our having sufficient Euros on hand at the time.
Priority for pitches nearest the shower and toilet building is given to disabled guests with international Disabled Stickers whenever possible, please say if you need this.
Your deposit may be paid by cheque either in Stirling or Euros, for this purpose 1 Euro = £0:75p. You may also pay by Credit or Debit card on this web site using Paypal.
Because there are people who reserve pitches and intend to turn up but fail to do so, reservations can only be made if accompanied by payment of a deposit amounting to € 10 (£7:50) for each night of your intended visit. This helps to keep the cost down for everyone.
Deposits are not refundable in respect of reservations cancelled less than 14 days before the date when the pitch should be occupied. Cancellations less than 28 days will forfeit 50% of any deposit paid.
